Pineapple Mango Smoothie
Today we are making a variation of the mango smoothie. In this variation we add a fresh and juicy pineapple. Enough of this talking about it. Let’s get right into it.
- French Vanilla Yogurt
- Orange Juice
Equipment & Utensils
- Ninja Storm Drink Mixer
- 2 Sharp knives
- Large spoon (1.5 tsp size)
- 16 oz drinking glass
- Pineapple Corer
Today we begin with the fresh pineapple. Take the large sharp knife and cut the top of the pineapple to prepare it for the corer.
Next, once the top has been cut you should have a flat surface.
Next, get the pineapple corer and place it over the pine apple to begin the coring process.
Place the teeth of the corer on the pineapple and apply downward drill like pressure as you turn the pineapple corer to begin the coring process.
Lay the pineapple sideways to gain more leverage. Continue turning the corer.
When the process is complete you will have a nice spiral of freshly cut pineapple.
Slice the hard outer skin of the pineapple to easily remove the corer and to view the fresh pineapple.
See the neat spiral on the pineapple corer. For the moment place the pineapple to the side.
Next, grab the fresh mango. Peel off the skin with the smaller sharp knife.
Once completed the mango should look like this.
Now slice the mango down to its pit.
Save whats left from the pineapple skin and mango pit for a quick little snack. I have got to get my money’s worth!
Next, place the sliced fruit into the Ninja Storm Mixer.
Use all of the mango slices and as many pineapple spiral rings as you like. We used 3 or 4 rings.
Add the french vanilla yogurt.
We added 3 spoonfuls to make a smoother end product.
We followed up the yogurt with 2 spoonfuls of orange juice for added sweetness. The orange juice can substituted with honey if you like.
Add ice to the ingredients.
We fill the Ninja Storm mixer to the top line with ice.
Now mix all of the contents.
Blend to the desired consistency.
Transfer to drinking glass. Add whipped cream and/or straw and enjoy!
