Mango Peach Smoothie
Today we are going to dive into the creation of the Mango Peach Smoothie.
- 2 fresh peaches
- 1 fresh mango
- Orange Juice
- Stonyfield low fat French Vanilla Yogurt
- Bowl of ice
Equipment & Utensils
- Ninja Storm Drink Mixer
- Sharp knife
- Large spoon (1.5 tsp size)
- 16 oz drinking glass
Begin by slicing the peaches down to the pits. I do not peel off the skin. Use the skin for the variety of colors in the finished product. Place the peach slices in the Ninja Storm drink mixer.
Select a good mango that is a bit soft. The softer the mango the more tasty in my opinion. Peel the skin off of the mango. I discard the skin of the mango. When you are finished the mango should look just like this. Now that is pretty!
Slice up the mango. Slice it all the way down to the pit. Discard the mango pit but not before you enjoy the remaining mango. Bingo Bango!!
Place the sliced peaches into the Ninja Storm drink mixer cup.
Place the sliced mangoes into the Ninja Storm drink mixer cup.
Add 3 tablespoons of the Stonyfield French Vanilla Yogurt. Of course you can add more to impact the taste and consistency of the drink. This is a crucial part of the process because the yogurt adds the smooth to the smoothie.
Add 3 tablespoons of orange juice. Orange juice is added to sweeten up the the drink. Add more orange juice to make a sweeter smoothie. Additional orange juice may impact the consistency of smoothie.
** Honey can be used as a substitute sweetener.
Add a good amount of ice as the last ingredient to be placed into the Ninja Storm drink mixer.
Place the top the Ninja Storm drink mixer to the holding cup. Begin the mixing process.
Take a look at your work. Stir to check the consistency of the smoothie. Sample to check out the sweetness of the smoothie.
Pour your chilled smoothie into a nice tall glass.
Notice the variety of the red and orange colors thanks in part because of the skin of the peaches.
Add a straw and some whipped cream topping. Prepare your taste buds as you begin to enjoy a refreshing & tasty smoothie!
